We would like to introduce the "Mechanism of Hydrogen Sulfide Removal." The "Coraline" is a three-dimensional filter in a honeycomb shape, which has gas adsorbents such as iron oxide (SC-06HK contains activated carbon) attached to a polyester substrate. By passing gas containing hydrogen sulfide and unpleasant odors through it and making contact, desulfurization and deodorization are carried out chemically and physically. An example of removing sewage odor caused by inflow of contaminated water using a deodorization device filled with the deodorization filter "Coraline."

Hydrogen sulfide was generated in the wastewater treatment facility at the fishing port, causing corrosion of the control panel in the nearby electrical room. Even though the entire electrical room was sealed to prevent hydrogen sulfide from entering, the concentration of hydrogen sulfide did not decrease sufficiently. According to the measurement results, the hydrogen sulfide concentration was 6 ppb, and there was an inquiry to reduce this to below 1 ppb. After installing a demo unit of our product "Coraline" and confirming its effectiveness, a purchase was made. We would like to introduce a case study of implementation at a wastewater treatment plant and drainage treatment facility. The sewage odor generated from inflow wastewater was removed using a deodorization device filled with the deodorization filter "Coraline." It is also used in areas with high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide and is utilized for odor control and environmental measures within the treatment plant.
